The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is seeking the public’s help in identifying the individual or individuals responsible for abandoning several parts of a cow moose southeast of Kirkland Lake.

On October 24, 2017, conservation officers were made aware of a butchered cow moose that had been abandoned. Officers located the moose parts along an access road leading to a gravel pit on the north side of Highway 66, approximately 14 kilometres west of the junction of Highways 66 and 11 in Gross Township. The abandoned moose remains had been left to spoil.
